When the Dog Delivers the Rings… 🐾💍

There are always moments at a wedding that you simply couldn’t stage — and this was definitely one of them!

During the ceremony at Willow Marsh Farm, near Loughborough, Paige & Jason had a rather special ring bearer. Their dog Blossom came bounding down the aisle carrying the rings, much to the delight of everyone watching.

It was one of those brilliant little moments that sums up why I love photographing and filming weddings. You can plan the timeline, the portraits and the formalities, but it’s the personalities, reactions and unexpected moments that really tell the story of the day.

Blossom was looked after throughout the wedding by Emily from Emily’s Canine Crew, who was on hand to make sure everything went smoothly and, once Blossom had successfully completed her very important job, retrieve her from the aisle!

The video below is just a short moment from the day, but exactly the sort of moment that makes having both wedding photography and videography so worthwhile — the movement, the guests’ reactions and Blossom charging towards the ceremony are something photographs alone could never quite reproduce.
