Wedding Photography at Goosedale, Nottingham
Goosedale is one of Nottinghamshire’s most distinctive wedding venues, with extensive grounds, landscaped gardens and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that give us plenty of options throughout the day.
My approach to Goosedale wedding photography is mainly natural and documentary. I focus on the real moments as they happen — the nerves before the ceremony, reactions, laughter, speeches and all the little interactions you may not even notice on the day.
Alongside that, I’ll usually take you away for a short portrait session to create a few more polished images using the venue, the grounds and the best available light. You won’t spend hours posing. I’ll guide you where needed, keep things relaxed and get you back to your guests quickly.
Natural Wedding Photography With a Little Bit of WOW
Most of your wedding day is captured naturally, but I also like to create a handful of standout portraits that make the most of the venue.
At Goosedale that might mean using the gardens and countryside during the day, making use of softer evening light, or introducing off-camera lighting once it gets dark. The aim is to give you hundreds of genuine moments alongside a few images that feel special enough to print large.
The same applies whatever the weather. Bright sunshine, rain, winter darkness or a dramatic sunset can all work photographically when the approach is adapted to the conditions.
Where permission, weather and local flight restrictions allow, drone photography and video can also be used to show Goosedale and its surroundings from a completely different perspective.
