swancar farm wedding menu

Swancar Farm is one of those wedding venues I’m always happy to see in the diary — partly because it’s a beautiful Nottinghamshire wedding venue, partly because the food is consistently excellent, and partly because I live literally just around the corner!
As a local wedding photographer and videographer, Swancar Farm feels like one of my home venues. I know the setting, I know how the light works around the grounds, and I know how to keep things relaxed so couples can enjoy the day without feeling like the photography and video have taken over.
I was back at Swancar Farm recently for a combined photography and videography wedding commission, and it reminded me again why this venue works so well for natural, candid wedding coverage... oh and of course THE FOOD really is THAT good, just watch this video! (if in doubt, order the beef!)
Why Swancar Farm Works So Well for Weddings
Swancar Farm Country House has that lovely mix of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, with countryside surroundings, beautiful reception spaces and a really exclusive feel. The venue describes itself as a secluded, exclusive countryside wedding venue, with grounds, celebration rooms, accommodation and menus all forming part of the experience.
For photography and videography, that is a great combination. You have character indoors, space outdoors, and enough variety across the venue to tell the full story of the day without needing to disappear for ages.
Swancar Farm Wedding Photography & Videography FAQs
Do you photograph and film weddings at Swancar Farm?
Yes. I offer wedding photography and videography at Swancar Farm Country House, including combined photo and video packages.
Are you local to Swancar Farm?
Yes. I’m based in Cossall, very close to Swancar Farm and Junction 26 of the M1, so it is one of my most local wedding venues.
Do you offer both photography and videography together?
Yes. My combined wedding photography and videography packages are ideal for couples who want one consistent style and a relaxed approach across the whole day.
Can we see full weddings before booking?
Absolutely. I always recommend couples ask to see complete weddings, not just highlight images or short clips, so they can see the consistency across a full day.
Is Swancar Farm good for wedding photography and video?
Yes. Swancar Farm has a great mix of countryside surroundings, rustic indoor spaces, natural light and elegant reception areas, which all work beautifully for photography and film.
