A Wedding Walk Through Matlock
After a wonderful wedding breakfast at The Fishpond Matlock, we headed out with the bride and groom for some relaxed, street-style wedding portraits around Matlock.
I love doing this kind of photography because it keeps things natural and full of personality. No stiff posing, no awkward forced smiles — just the couple, the surroundings, and whatever the day decides to throw at us.
And this day threw in something brilliant.
While we were walking through Matlock, a group of Hells Angels ended up high-fiving the bride and groom, chatting with everyone, and even letting them sit on their bikes for photos. They were genuinely lovely, and it made for one of those completely unexpected wedding moments that nobody could have planned.
That is exactly why I love natural wedding photography and videography. The best memories often happen between the formal parts of the day.
